The History of Decision Analysis and Decision Quality Carl Spetzler, Chairman
Carl has been a decision professional for fifty years. In this talk, he will take us through the evolution of Decision Analysis and Decision Quality. He’ll start with the 60’s when Ron Howard and Howard Raiffa began to apply decision theory as a practical way to solve significant decision problems. His emphasis will be on some key stories and the major frame shifts that have brought us to today where the field has expanded into many application domains. Carl will be joining us remotely. |
